Over the past couple of days I have become obsessed with these two images, revision after revision binned, a severe chastising of myself for a massive lack of discipline with my PP work and a total restart
To me the images are unique in that I have not seen others of these twin hull and outrigger craft shot at night or without modern day paraphernalia in the frame. My objective was to produce something that 'represented' their magnificence under the stars and moonlight.
For info, these were shot using only natural light, the half moon was above and slightly behind me. The images are un-cropped and I see the possibility of 3:2 and 16:9 framing.
These are what I consider the finished pictures and request critical feedback as to how I could improve them, what is wrong and why, and specifically the brightness of the images from someone that uses a monitor in controlled lighting.
