Lovely image...
Thank you Richard! I am really trying to do more landscapes but they are definitely not my comfort zone.
That's very nice plus although I have known about (and often used) the expression "It's all grist to the Mill", it never occurred to me to look up "Grist". I now have.
Thanks John!
Thank you John! Now don't keep us in suspense what is Grist
Thank you Paul David!
Looked it up in an old 1944 edition of Websters that I have. It's an old English word used to describe a quantity of corn, specifically corn intended to be processed into flour or the act of grinding it. Alternatively, a quantity of Malt to be ground or just a quantity of Bees. It also might mean a piece of rope whose circumference is three inches and which has twenty yarns in each of three strands. So now you know what to ask for the next time you are in need of any of these useful commodities.
Thanks Dave, it really is!

Very nice, Barbara. I like it...this year we might be going to quite a bit of national parks for the heck of it and photography though I have seen most of the national parks here in the US in the late '90s. That is if it will make you interested in landscapes. You see, landscape is all around us, you can't really escape it. Just that Texas has bigger landscapes than most states. Everything is big and yuge! in Texas. Would you believe I have never been to Branson? but I heard about this place donated by Bass Pro and would like to go there this year. You have a neat image here and I couldn't fault it...
P.S. According to Google, grist also means a material use to back up an argument.
Izzie, Thank you! If you have a chance to go to Dogwood Canyon, I highly recommend it. I also recommend Top of the Rock. It is a beautiful place, we stayed at the resort owned by Bass Pro's owner and it was fantastic. As for Branson, it is extremely touristy and I was not impressed by it at all. Glad we opted to stay a bit further away.
