Lovely shots both the colorful and the white peacock. Is that one an albino?

I am not sure, but i think both are peacocks; peahen lacks that fan type tail....not sure

Thinking abut it you're right the white one will be another male. A quick Google shows it to be selectively bred this way.

I have not seen an albino peacock...maybe one day but I doubt it. Anyway, both of these shots are pretty.

The Peacock's train is a good example of sexual selection. Over thousands of generations, males with the fanciest trains got more females and so more offspring. At the same time the females who preferred the fanciest males got the fathers who would give them more desendants. And so it goes...
