    The white (cream) petals of the flower look blown out, at last on my tablet. You have captured a good depth of field.

    John, the white petals are not really blown, according to the GIMP. In a selection there of 8256 pixels, only 233 of them have a value of 255.

    On the other hand, the upper part of the histogram has a mean of 249 with a quite narrow standard deviation of only 3.7. That implies very little contrast which can give an impression of "blown" and may be the result of using Curves . .
