    Just out of curiosity which licence did you purchase from Alamy or did you contact them and get agreement for a none commercial personal licence?

    Finding an image via Google does not give you rights to use it.

    If you search the original via Google pretty much every link goes back to Alamy who seem to own it and they all show a cost for its use.

    Thanks for the info. I've never run into problems before. The way I figure it is the original photographer is dead. How long can they milk a photo?

    I do apologise, as Rob pointed out I'm in a very bad mood today Didn't mean to take it out on you, for what its worth I really like your colorisation's but I wish you would post more background info on the original photo - could be interesting?

    It's all good! The photo was taken in 1950 as a promotion for the movie A Place In The Sun. That's all I've been able to find on it other than the fact Montgomery killed himself afterwords.
