    Wild West

I thought I'd share this, these are wild horses that graze on a field in the middle of a council estate, the locals tame them and basically ride them everywhere. Its quite a weird situation that I doubt you'll see in any other cities in the UK!

Nice picture and horses. Wait for Richard: they smoke dogs in that smokehouse.

I'd probably buy and eat one of their "dogs" It's the Korean dog meat markets that I hate

Nice capture Matt. The guy in the horse at image left looks like he is going to fall over the other side of that animal.

BTW: These are beautiful animals! I love heavy-weight work horses... I wonder what their original breeds were?

We have an area along the Colorado River, between the states of Arizona and Colorado hat has numerous wild burros. The burros were used by miners in the 1800's and early 1900's and then released into the wild after small scale mining no longer was profitable. This area is topographically very similar to where burros originated in North Africa and these animals have prospered and multiplied. These burros come into the town of Oatman to get handouts from the tourists...

That was the first thing I thought too -- working horses. They have the same look as the Budweiser horses at the bottom hence the thought of working horses. Very nice shot.
