    Road to Pangong Lake

    The scenery in parts of the Himalayas is stark, beautiful and difficult to photograph because the foreground areas are rather unexciting. I thought I might be able to try some of these shots as monochrome, as they seem to work better.

    These images are taken near the Indo-Chinese border.

    These are all wonderful. I especially like the last 2, mostly because of the range of tones but also probably due to the more "exciting" foregrounds.
