Just wondering why you like the flower in this state, also where exactly is the flower that you find this tonality intriguing? Just to take my query a bit further, is this how you physically see the flower or is it your vision of how you want to see it?

I enjoy the richness of the colors, the angles and the strong contrast between fore and background. The flower is much paler in the garden than it is in my shot.

Your final question is the hardest question. I certainly don't see the flower in this way in the garden. I see it this way in my imagination. The challenge is to find ways to create in pp what I see in my head. I am trying to find a way to create a light and soft vision in the days to come.

Over the last few years I have shot many of these flowers and now I find it a good flower for experimenting with.

Do you experiment with WB, it might give you the richness of colors you seek and also maintain the tonality of the entire scene?

It is the poorest of my pp skills. But never wishing to ignor good advice I will have a go with it in the next variation.
