Looks like it needs a bit more 'inflation' to be that shape we usually see over here in supermarkets, Brian.

You recently said you were missing my critique, so I feel duty bound to mention some bright distractions around the edges of frame

I'd tone down lower left corner (who said vignette?), slight crop to left edge and clone out the remaining one on top edge.

That said, the shot's a 'lemon' anyway, so why bother

(No offence intended to Brian - or Lemons)

Good one Brian, it's not often we shoot young fruits.

Having read Dave's comments earlier and having read an article referring to photo shopped models today I could not resist trying the KKBI tool in PS

The fruit is not much more than 1 inch tall. Which accounts for it's odd shape. And with your efforts I have to agree with Dave's critiques. I am especially pleased that my cloning in the fruit still looks good.

    looks good.

After appreciating Grahame's work what can I say but that your critique, as always was spot on. This was almost a macro shot of a young fruit which accounts for its odd shape.

Our lemon trees are fruiting for the first time so there may be more lemon aid needed.

I had no idea it was that small, I guess it stands to reason (i.e. it would grow in length as well as girth).

Here's a link to the reprocessed version: I tried Dave's suggestions but couldn't fatten it up like Grahame did

    Thanks, Dave
