Down at the bottom right of SEP (well, that's where I've gto it in my window), you should see 'Loupe and Histogram'. Hover your mouse in that area and a wee sub menu will pop up saying 'Loupe' 'Histogram'. Don't worry about those. You're not using them just now. But below that you'll see a table that goes from 0 to 10. 0 is black and 10 is white. At the left of that there is a wee check box. Make sure that it ticked. Now ...................

Run your mouse icon thingy along that table/grid from 0 to 10 and look what's happening on the picture you have up in the main window. Come back and tell us what you're seeing?

In addition to Donald's information, if you click (rather than hover over) one or more of the zone numbers, you can display the colored markings indicating multiple zones at a time.

Thank you, Donald and Mike. I had no idea that this function was available.

Thank you, Mike. Stupid as it sounds, I had forgotten that if you click on a zone number you hold that tone area open on the image being viewed.

I shall add my thanks to Dan's as I didn't have the feature enabled on my version (tick box now ticked ) I shall consider this as my learning for today. Thank you Donald and Mike for adding to my learning.

Thank you Manfred, my original image in this thread was made in portrait orientation which; is the only frame I made in that orientation.
I decided having made a number of landscape orientated versions (with and without ND Filters) just to add that one portrait version which I then cropped 1 to 1 in post. Having read all of the comments regarding the amount of foreground on reflection my choice of crop wasn't the best.
Here's one of the landscape versions as you suspected it is probably a stronger image. But it does require some cropping to remove the part tree on the right and some tidying up on the left to remove the intruding branches from the adjacent tree. My main point of interest was the middle tree I was at the 35mm end of my 16-35 lens, which gave me this un-cropped scene that you see here.
