Nice series.
Yes. #4, 5 & 7 look exceptionally good to me.
Great series... Magnificent birds...
Fabulous! So glad I got to see these. I love the simplicity and that pop of orange. If I had to pick a favorite it would be #3 but it is seeing them all together that is so fun.
Another +1 -- how romantic....
Great series George,
Particularly like how the framing was kept consistent on most.
Cheers, Dave
Glad you liked them. It was easy shooting. Tripod, camera, 80-200 lens at 200, manual focusing fixed on the chimney,f8 for enough marge, a bench to sit on and of course the "mitrailleur". The birds came mostly from the left, so kept some space on the left. Between shooting a talk with the passants.
The chimney is still in use. You can see at least 3 boilers on it. What's left of the other, probably ventilation, channels I don't know.

ps. I just noticed mitrailleur is not an English word. Machine gun: tak-tak-tak-tak.

Storks are back this year. Now they've young storks. This is one of my first movies made with a D750. I still have to figure out how it works.
In this movie I noticed the young ones have a black beak.
