Falcon at Wingspan
I took this photo at least a year ago, but have been reviewing and suddenly thought what would he/she look like close up? Here is the result. Any suggestions gratefully received as this is not one of my areas of getting good images.

Re: Falcon at Wingspan
If I was to process this shot as one of my bug shots;
1) tone down the blown highlights on the beak
2) clone out the middle bright area in the eye
3) remove some of the bg noise
4) put a little more clarity/structure into the feathers.
5) I would also see how the shot looked with the bird facing to the left.
Just some thoughts. It's a good shot as it is. Hope you don't mind but I was curious. Let me stress that my rendering is certainly different but not necessarily better. It is just one of many ways to develop your excellent shot.

Re: Falcon at Wingspan
Its look at the viewer is very sharp which masks the lesser sharpness of the image liked it

Beautiful bird. Nicely caught. The flipped orientation Brian suggests is much stronger IMHO. If it were mine I would work on the bg noise too.
