My only suggestions would be a few dodges and burns to reveal (or subdue) wanted (or unwanted) brightness.

I used multiple graduated masks for the dodging and burning. Drawing a single line dodge or burn is getting difficult for my old hands. But I but I could have used a little selective work on the face.
