Sticking to the long exposure theme, sometimes moving elements (clouds, light streaks) really add emphasis on a composition so don't totally avoid movement within a long exposure; remember that long exposures can eliminate unwanted distractions (moving people when shooting monuments) and the effects can greatly benefit your experience. On or two critiques regarding this image, notice how the reflected shadows of the tree can at first glance look like a smudge, also either through your processing or long exposure you've created a glow around the base of the tree and shoreline. You might be able to emphasize the glowing look by adding a bit of blur to simulate fog or to lessen the sharp detail of the light. Looking forward to seeing more of your 2017 advancements in photography.
