Chihuahuan Desert (Texas) multiple photo's will continue to add (sepia, B&W)

It takes some courage to post here as many of you are miles beyond what I will ever be as a photographer, that being said maybe there is something here to your fancy. This is my home, sharing a little of it with you.

    Commits and criticism welcome

Objective - to create something of artistic merit

Cottonwood by creek, near my house, it has not lost all of it’s leaves, photo was taken on 17th January, fall is late here as I live 7 miles from Mexico.

Mare, was fighting with male all day, acted nice for about two seconds, then went back to some more fighting, one of my favorite photo's .

Deer in Mountains eating flowers, they have not been hunted for over 80 years as it is in a National Park, was a special moment for me as I was able t stand there for about 30 minutes and watch. Reduced clarity almost as far as it would go to try and give photo a dreamy look

Just some flowers by road, it was a grand day

Lee, just my two cents worth. You have a way with compositions that I like very much. Looking at your pictures that is, to my mind, your strengths. Keep it up.
    Cheers Ole

Very nice series Lee, and look forward to more. Of this set, I liked the subtlety of "Deer" and the composition in "Cottonwoods" - perhaps try and clean up the sign at the foot of the tree on the left side?

All excellent shots! You make good photographs of something many will not even notice until they see these. Now if I can have even just a tiny bit of your creativity in post processing, I'd be a happy camper. I cannot find a favourite, btw. They are all good.

Lovely set Lee If the images were mine I would lift the band of dark shadows in #1 and I would crop about half of the sky in #4.
