    Experiment

Saw the beautiful colors after sunset, and wanted to zoom in a bit. Thus, grabbed my hubby's camera (zoom camera). Alas, he shoots in auto, and I don't know his camera.
Took this quickly, then noticed oh crap ISO is on auto and at 5000!
I don't know how to set his ISO, it's way different camera than mine, but I played along with it in lightroom. Noise of course was insane, so I did some crazy editing.
Not for everyone, but still fun.

    Thanks for looking,

    SKF

    Re: Experiment

Sharon...I share your frustration about hubby's camera. My husband's camera is also all automatic and he doesn't want it touched by me because he thought if I turn the dial to manual when I use it, if I turn it back the way he like it at auto, he will never be able to use it again because the setting will be the same as my manual setting. So on my dinette table near the deck door, I have three cameras, three tripods. If I have to, I can pick up any at a moment's notice.

Anyway, I love this shot...the scene is just so pleasant. Didn't like the smoothie water but it is OK I suppose...

Sharon, Like Izzie, I don't like the smoothie water, but it is an incredibly atmospheric shot. Such serendipity!

    Re: Experiment

Agree with you both John and Izzie, it's a look that is too over processed for me.... I tend to use a light hand in Lightroom, as I like to see what I've actually seen.
Izzie, my hubby has a nice camera, just can't get him to learn it enough to get out of Auto. . I also don't really like zoom lenses, which is his (the only lens)... but most people do like the flexibility of a zoom.

    Thanks for the comments!
