    Dandelion Clocks

Spent a few minutes in the back garden with my Fuji X-T1 and a Helios 44M 2/58. I couldn't get quite close enough so popped a 10mm tube on it so I could fill the frame with some dandelion clocks...

One of these days I will bite the bullet and invest in a Fuji 56mm f1.2 - however - the results from the old Helios 44M will more than make up for it in the mean time.

    Two fine shots, Robin.

Nah, ignore the Fuji, save yerself £600, get a mint, Minolta Rokkor MD 50mm f1.4, IMO the best 50mm ever. Had the Rokkor f1.2, sold it as ah didn't think it was better than the 1.4. The Olympus f1.2 runs it close though...

Very artistic! Though both images are very nice, the first one is especially so for me because of the background and depth of field.

They get a good review on the Fuji forums - a friend has just picked up a mint condition Nikon 50mm f1.2 so I should be shooting with that over the next week or so.

    Hear, hear! still got my MD 50mm f1.4, MD 50mm f3.5 macro, MD 85mm f1.7 and a MD mount Sigma 18mm f4.
    And they're still in use!

Great images, Robin. I particularly like the B&W image.
