Fun-tastic lens with which to practice.
The MkIII is really "corner crisp" even at FL = 16mm.
A suggestion - watch your Shutter Speed - there is some blur: maybe you thought you'd be safe setting Shutter Priority Mode at 1/160s, but 1/320~1/500s is a general safer area for kids that age, especially at such a close Subject Distance - I'd rather be nearer 1/500s. I think that we always owe crisp enough Shutter Speed to a lens which is that good. Your 6D could easily bump to ISO3200 to accommodate a faster Tv.
