Newlyweds in love...
These two young newlyweds were on their honeymoon in Charleston... I tried to move to my left to avoid the bottoms of her sandals but, my movement broke the intimacy of the moment. Introducing myself, I learned that they were newlyweds...
I guess that we have to take what we are given when shooting strangers...
My philosophy is to shoot what I have at the moment and then try for something better. If the better shot doesn't pan out, like this time, at least I have my first shot...

Re: Newlyweds in love...
Thanks Dave...
I think that I like this B&W version a bit better...

Re: Newlyweds in love...
Nice shot, I don't mind the soles; you could have captioned "head over heels".

Re: Newlyweds in love...
Nice image Richard I think I prefer the color image. The B&W seems a bit flat to me.

You caught that moment beautifully. I prefer the color shot too.

Re: Newlyweds in love...
Richard, I prefer the B&W. John: 'head over heels.' I need a scotch
Cheers Ole

Re: Newlyweds in love...
Thanks folks. I deviated from my normal "people picture" mode and shot mostly brick and mortar images while I was in Charleston, South Carolina. This image is one that returned to my normal style...

Re: Newlyweds in love...
Beautiful photo. I hope in 50 years they are still looking at each other like that
Color for me, as I love the colors of her dress and feel it has more punch.

Re: Newlyweds in love...
Here is (for better or for worse) another version. This one has a vignette and I smoothed his 5-o'clock shadow slightly by using NIK Viveza's structure slider in a minus structure....
