    Ajax-Manchester

Despite what happened in Manchester the show must go on.
Ajax for the first time in 22 year in the finale. Last time was 1995, and they won!!!!

Every cafe has his screens. Or 5 screens. It says "the sons of the gods vs the mancunians"

On the Museum square several big screens are placed. They expect about 100000 people there. All people have to got through safety gates.

And off course so many people have to go to toilet once a while. Still waiting to be placed.

Another unofficial meeting place is the Leidse square. A lot of smoke.

In 1995 two members of the team were Danny Blind and Patrick Kluivert. Kluivert made the winning goal as a 18 year old substitute. His son is now 18 and playing for Ajax. The son of Danny Blind, Daley Blind, is now playing for Manchester.

    We're back.

Hopefully they come bach with the holy bowl.

There is something about the first photo that makes me think as if I can feel the chalk (or whatever it is) on the board. Very realistic!

To be fair, George, United were ordinary but Ajax were poor. I speak as a Spurs supporter for 60+ years so I have an automatic dislike for United Ajax-Manchester

    We have Feyenoord to dislike.
They played poor. Completely different as the last 4 matches. It's going to be a quite night.

    Both Belgians.
They received their final football education in the youth of Ajax. Ajax invests much in the youth.

A big deal I see. Love your toilet shot - the composition is right on and the color is great. It all works and is interesting even if it's toilets!

Toilets are an essential part of big crowds. And fresh water. That's also a demand: free fresh water.

The first Manchester goal. Look at the ladies arms. Must be a female behaviour. I'm quite satisfied with it at 3200 ISO.

I did shoot in a burst mode and I found out something interesting. The first shots where blurred, after the third, fourth they where good. I can explain this only from the fact that the mirror goes up only once and stays up till the end.

This was the square from the air. You can click on the picture. It even has exif.

Your shots looks something exciting is going to happen just looking at the faces of the crowd. I am glad that sports is not affected by terrorism. It would be disaster.

I'm afraid it is Izzie. Go back to the 1972 massacre at the Munich Olympics. More recently (in April) there was the attack on the Dortmund football (soccer) team bus and in November 2015 there was an attack on the Stade de France when France was playing Germany, again at football (soccer).

With the exception of Dortmund. That guy did buy shares, more specific options, of the football club and thought to become rich. Pure for financial profit.

I can promise you Manchester is not living in a state of fear. As it happens, I was at a concert in Manchester the night before (different venue), and I will go again without a second's thought. Which is not to minimise the deaths and injuries, nor the lasting effects on everyone present.
