    Christian Science Church

A shot of one of the outdoor walkways at the Christian Science Church Headquarters in Boston. It is a very photogenic building but they do not like it when you use a tripod.

My intent here was to capture a dry almost desert like feeling. Basic exposure data is 40mm for 1/4 second at f 16 with iso set at 100.

    C&C are welcome.

    Thanks for looking.

Pity about the detour sign. Could you have snuck up and hidden it before taking the photo?

Very nicely done, Ian. I would have got SWMBO to temporarily move the sign as your eye tends quickly to gravitate there. However, with the current image, if you are anything like me, then you would change the red for a colour which blends in with those around.

That's a very cool shot. I don't mind the sign a bit - makes it real to me. You achieved a desert feeling really well. Did you use a tripod?

Red immediately draws the eye to it, so if that is what you want to happen, then it works very well, Ian. If not, ...........

I liked it very much; you may selectively reduce the brightness of orange color, to minimise distraction....
Of course if someone were walking in, that would have given an added punch

Good choice, Ian, having the two turquoise items.

Good perspective shot. I like the colour too. Pity about the tripod rule.
