Police station headquarter, just in front of Notre Dame cathedral, lighting is sometimes like this on different occasions on different monuments.
Maybe it's to celebrate our new president or as you suggest, I don't know?
but it's pleasant to see.

I concur with Binnur, love the architecture, not the usual steel and glass. The lamp standard add to the character.

I checked where Alaigne is ( I don't know this town), certainly a nice country.but less decorated with French flag lights
