    Here's how it works ...

    - You good folks post MONOCHROME images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture) (Click the "Go Advanced" button)

    - When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll

    - After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

    - If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

    Too easy eh?

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread.

This is the new Pegasus bridge. The original is in the museum grounds, a short distance away, together with other memorabilia including a glider similar to that used in the attack on the bridge on 'D' Day.

    Pegasus

I have recently read Pegasus Bridge by Stephen Ambrose (Band of Brothers etc). A fascinating read and incredible bravery of all those involved, but especially the glider pilots.

The Pegasus Museum near the bridge is well worth a visit as it commemorates the taking of the bridge by the airborne troops. The first soul to lose his life on D Day was part of that operation.

Classic picnic spot - Moylegrove Bay, West Wales

You can't beat chilled Chardonnay, smoked salmon sandwiches and a bench with this view. Shot a few days ago.

Now you are asking for a debate Rob, although I'll concede that the view is great!
