Thanks Les :-) I tried using focus bracketing on most of them. I think it worked pretty well.
Very nice use of very nice light in all of them. In the third one, consider sharpening the subject a bit more and darkening and or reducing the saturation of the red petals on the left side, as they draw my away from the subject. Also consider adding a slight vignette to the last one.
Thanks for your comments Mike. I was trying to catch the whole gamut of colors in that third one - the tight blossoms are very dark pink. I'll give it a go in LR and see. I wish overall there was some more sharpness in that shot too...was hoping moody prevailed. ;-).
There is a vignette on the last one - a slight gauzy white one which I was hoping worked in this instance - Thanks again.
Very nicely done. Beautiful colors and lighting.
Excellent set of images; liked all of them
Sharon and Nandakumar, thanks for taking a peek and commenting. ..appreciate it :-)
Mike, I was going for light and airy on the hover fly shot, thus the negative vignette this time. Thanks.
They are all interesting but #1 is the winner for me. The interior of the flowers are exceptionally well captured.
Nice set Susan #1 is my fav, I would crop the last one from the bottom to eliminate the very bright and blurred part.
Brian, John and Binnur thanks to you for checking these out and commenting. I think #1 is my favorite too ;-)
you convey the changing colours very well, love the images,
First and last one for me. The first one for the drama of the light is most effective. I like the glow and the arrangement. How did you light the first one and is the second one the same? The last one got that extra some bug-o-graphers here will love you for...
Beautiful shots, for me # 1 and 4.
Thanks James and Jean - it is a unique one that changes daily and fast! all the pinks are now gone.
