    was having problems with tinypic and pc getting anything to load, i ended up loading them from flikr and forgot to add the data,

    Hi James, I use a Tamron 90 mm for my shooting and you have a fine lens. I have been using it for about six months. There must be a limit to what the lens can do but I haven't found it yet. The fly shot you posted is good. Once you figure out the lens settings you will be able to capture compound eyes on flies of that size and much smaller. Same with the spider... as you get used to the lens you will be astounded at the detail you find in your shots. Have fun. Looking forward to more of your shots.
