    Great capture Richard,

    May I enquire as to the focal length and shooting distance?

    I like the V shape formed from the two upper corners by the tail and those stems.

    You may not agree (and that's fine), but if mine, I'd clone out the little dark area where the oof stem exits the frame 2/3 down the left hand edge, as I find it attracts my attention (more than if just bright stem exits frame there).

    Also thanks for persevering and finding an alternative to TinyPic during the current problems.

    Hi Dave,
    She was right on my minimum focus distance (1.5m) Focal length 420mm, hand held as always with that combo - I never carry the monopod now.

    I thought as much in that my most successful shot of a small bird was taken at a similar distance, I think the perspective is the give-away.
