This one http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy-...ilter/p1013508 I'm afraid to take it out of the box at that price. I bought a screw-in as all my lenses are 77mm diameter. You can just about see through it to compose your shot, or you have to screw it in after. Read the reviews.
Sadly, our nearly 60 years old Locust tree is dying and becoming dangerous since it has dropped numerous 4 to 5 inch diameter limbs: So it is being cut down and the task started this afternoon about 2:30. The combined picture shows the tree before and after a couple of hours of cutting smaller limbs on one side. Tomorrow in the morning some of the 14 to 16 inch diameter limbs on the right will come down. If you look very closely you may see the belaying rope on the right side of the trunk. That will be used to lower down the very large limbs. The tree activity will likely occupy my photo shots tomorrow as well. At least I get that out of loosing the tree

Eddie and Terah Today...
Here are individual shots of these two dogs. We are only going to place them together, not separately. They love each other dearly and have spent almost eight years together in a cramped cage with no care and little food. We owe it to them to provide a life together in which they have love and decent living condtions...

Do you know in my pre-coffee state I thought these photographs were about how Rob could use his 10 stop ND filter. 2 hours later will be about right I think.
Don't encourage him Donald. He will you know. And whats more they will be good and I will be forced to concede an exceptionYou could do fluffy water and shiny rocks - just to please Steve (Wirefox).
We went out to dinner for my sister's 40th birthday (again) and I had duck comfit with pasta parparelle with a truffled parmesan butter sauce. Oh, my! Some long time family friends were here from California and I really didn't have time to take many photos. HOWEVER, I got a good pic of my parents. I don't know if it would live up to Colin's and Kay's level but I'm just proud that I took this in creative mode without completely losing my head (which is usually what I do when people are around. )
Canon 50D, EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, f/11, 1/4s, ISO 400, 580EX RF triggered for fill, bounced from the right. Full EXIF, PAD slideshow.
Some nice flowers at the hotel, I'm not sure what kind. I set up a room service tray by the window, and bounced the flash off a white napkin hung over a suitcase for fill. I didn't want to use the ceiling, because it's gray wood. It was a really gray day outside, hence the high iso and slow exposure, even with fill flash.
C&C are always welcome.
Cheers,
Rick
