The annual visit to the dentist...

For once was painless - nothing chipped, cracked or falling out. Whilst in the city I couldn't resist a walk around Roma Street Parklands, meet the Boss for lunch followed by a stroll through the Botanic Gardens on the first day of winter.

#4 The windmill was built on Spring Hill using convict labour when Brisbane was settled. But the wind never blew there! so It was converted to a signal tower; the ball was raised and dropped at 12 noon precisely for shipping anchored in the Brisbane River to synchronise their chronometers.

Lovely set of images, Richard, really nice. The fountain shots are my faves.

    Glad it was painless.

Nothing like this going to my dentist. A fine set of images, although I think that the harsh sunlight did not help. I like the flowers and the Lorikeet best. I was taken aback by the Curlews. These look like we call Stone Curlews, but are what you call Bush Curlews in Oz.

Thank you for presenting a lovely set of images of Queensland. It makes me want to visit there. I would gladly trade you winter in Canada for one in Australia.

You fared better than I did at the dental office. I just had a revision root canal. It wasn't as bad as it sounds.

Thanks John, I did indeed struggle with the light, it was very harsh with high UV levels.

I don't think I would survive a winter in Canada but i am looking forward to visiting your homeland next year. My son is working there at the moment and he has sent me enough photos to whet my appetite. A vast and beautiful land with the sort of wild places I love to see.

Very nice images. I especially like the one with the "parrot" on the flowers and the old hardware building contrasting the more modern one in the background. You might want to clone out the part of the building showing in the upper left of that image.

An annual visit to the dentist is necessary for every person, this visit can be compared with a routine examination of the body, which helps to find out if everything is fine with the teeth and immediately eliminate the problem, if any exists. For me, an annual visit to the dentist has become a tradition, since childhood my parents taught me to thoroughly take care of my oral cavity and I have remembered it forever. I even have a regular visitor card at the clinic https://thehealthysmile.net/dental-s...-village-ohio/. I do not have to make an appointment in advance at the clinic because I have agreed in advance with dentists about annual appointments. These receptions always happen at the same time and on the same day. I advise everyone to visit the dentist at least once a year.
