Helpful Posts: I've had checked bags that were just over the limit on a few flights. Usually, just asking when the scale was last calibrated let's me slip by.
It's a strange system when a 110 pound woman, or a 300 pound guy, both have to pay an overweight bag fee for a couple pounds over...

Completely agreed. On the one hand it's strange, though on the other hand nobody ever said any particular pricing model is perfect.
