    It works Brian, just a bit off of the right side may help, but may not.

    and unusually for me almost entirely in camera. A small crop and some clarity and structure plus one or two other tweaks was it.

    I just now realized a particularly compelling characteristic of the image that is unusual at least to my viewing experience: even though the flowers are suffering from an onslaught of nature, they remain as graceful as ever. Indeed, the position of the two flowers reminds me of the body position a graceful ballerina assumes in the classic pose low to the floor with the torso parallel to the legs and the hands over the feet. Very nice!

    Now that you mention it... the elongated 'S' is powerful
