Early morning photo shoot

Sunday mornings summer and winter, a dear old friend and I take an early morning three-hour walk on Sunday mornings through various areas of downtown Toronto, and I always carry a small light body and one lens, just in case.
Earlier this spring we were walking through Nathan Phillip's square in front of the Toronto City Hall when we came upon a couple taking photos. I liked the scene with them in the (rarely) deserted square, and grabbed this shot.

What do you intend to show us?
main part of this image is gray, underexposed.
Personages are not visible (as I understand it's your subject: a photographer and his model?)
the RHS behind the model is not useful and does not benefit the photo.
This is just my opinion.

Thank you for commenting.
I intended to show a vast, usually very crowded square essentially empty except for a couple of people interacting early in the morning.
The exposure was for the highlights, as is usually done for slide film which this was, and as such based on my composition is correct.
I cropped as I did to show the large, empty space.

Robert, I think you could have safely increased exposure by 2 stops. That is only my opinion.
