Great Dog For a Boy
Usually, our Maltese rescues are more lap dogs and tend to be favored more by gals than guys...
However, Ricky is a fourteen pound Maltese who is sturdily built and would be a great companion for a boy...
He was turned over to us because his family could no longer keep him... He just loves kids and played with a neighbor's young son for hours...

Yes that looks like a fine dog. Sadly I don't have a boy to swap for the dog, would something else be acceptable???

No way that I would trade a dog for a boy... If you offered two boys, that would be even less appealing... At my age, I like young kids at a distance and only for a limited time

Re: Great Dog For a Boy
A friend of mine wanted a car for his mother-in-law. Knowing their relationship I suspect he would have traded for anything with wheels...

Richard, do you have the PC Brigade in the USA? In the UK, it's got to the stage where they pounce on anyone hinting at any form of stereotyping - the comments in Post #1 would be anathema to the Gender Police here!!!
Cheers.

Phillip...
Political correctness tends to shy away from reality and truth in the forlorn hope of offending nobody...

Very nice dog, Richard...it still has a lot of life in it too...I cannot imagine a dog being euthanized because s/he is old. He is pretty, so to speak. I sincerely hope you find a good home for him.
