    Is that upper leaf tending to make the scene appear a fraction top heavy? Maybe a slight crop from the top and right side?

    You have done well with the beetle and flower; both of which often get over exposed/saturated.

    Very effective composition. I like the disposition of the Geranium flower and the Beetle. I think that the upper leaf is not particularly intrusive, but a crop might possibly improve the composition.

    This has a rare composition....the beetle, the flower, the background.... really liked this, but it is not a picture of beelte, so to say

    I agree with Nandy...I like the composition very much, Bill -- and the exposure and the processing looks like a painting all together. In my mind, this will look better framed. The beetle itself forms the scale of the whole shot. Good job!
