Joffre Lakes in Pemberton, yes it really is that color

Harsh highlights, so I did indeed play with it a bit, but just couldn't make up for the harsh lighting.
I hope this year, I can get a chance for better timing and lighting.

Serene setting. I don't know but you may have further enhanced the bright highlights by adding the negative vignette..?
