    Middle of the Road

It's been a trifle damp here today so I abandoned the gardening and processed an image or two from a New Zealand trip. The trip seems ages ago now but to be honest I've only processed a small number of images from it. But that doesn't mean you need to continue doing your rain dances, my garden is now sufficiently wet for you to be able to cease and desist from dancing Middle of the Road
This one was taken somewhere between Gore and Mount Cook though I will need to look at a map to pinpoint exactly where it is.
As always your thoughts/comments are welcomed.

#2 modified image having read Mike and Brian's comments.

Very nice composition. The blue tones in the sky appear unrealistic on my calibrated monitor in an image in which all of the other tones appear realistic.

Only because I have for the last four and a half hour been trying to fix some water problems and am in a nasty mood I have to point out that the road is not in the middle. Check the two outside white lines. Still and all a fine shot.

Such a beauty....really wonderful... yes, a grain outside the middle, not a serious problem

Thank you Mike, having read your comment and having had a sleep, I've tweaked the saturation a little. Thanks again for your observation I think I just wanted to see some blue, blue sky

Thank you Brian I hope you have overcome your water problems and are feeling much more relaxed and in a better frame of mind now. Having read your comment WRT the corners I've done a quick and nasty tweak, see #2 above. Be happy Brian life is too short not to be

Thank you for taking time to look and comment Nandakumar, I have added some grains to the bottom left corner to weight it down a little

I'm feeling much better. Water problems fixed and the tilapia are all alive. Took a look and as small an adjustment as it is there is a difference. At least to my eyes.

Why is it that when I clicked on the image, it says 1 of 3 but there is no #3 image? Anyway, I like the original image better...

Izzie the first image is the emoticon Middle of the Roada smiley face. It must be how the forum interprets it as a picture.
Thanks for taking time to look and comment
