Fortunately, they provide a simple "Contrast By Level Details" in the second tab where all the sharpening and NR stuff is. So, usually I use that and some times add a bit of RL deconvolution on top, just a bit. I go on about both because they're an excellent way to avoid those horrible halos if you go too far with USM.

I'll post one more example, which will hopefully not attract disparaging C&C about color and stuff this time:

Low-Resolution Shooting and Post-Processing

This one is about another low-res camera, the Sigma SD14, same old subject re-arranged to get key items into the focal plane. The SD14 has slightly smaller pixels and does have slightly better micro-contrast before post-processing. Focus was manual and spot-on.
