Thanks for the link...if I don't solve my PS product problem soon I will bite.
It's very poor. been running it for a couple ofl hours, trying it out. Ma ancient Picasa is better. . Poor ergonomics, low resolution. It has a few more sophisticated tools than Picasa but not worth the effort tae change. When is a free program not a free program? When ye have tae pay for all the plugins. Difficult tae uninstall, leaves a lot of detritus. Placed folders in locations ah didn't choose, so had tae manually remove them. Also had tae be very careful uninstalling as the program wanted tae uninstall totally unrelated programs in directories. Ah'd avoid it...wishing ah had, waste of time...
PS ah use Picasa as an organiser and (primarily) the latest, free version of Zoner Studio (Zoner17) for the sophisticated tools. Don't have a real workflow, as ah spend as little time as possible in PP. Have a pile of wee programs installed and dip in and out of them.
Thanks, Boab...though I rarely upload unknown programs, on occasion I do and get stuck like you
did.
Interestingly, my first impressions are quite different to those of Boab. I've tried it and found it easy to use with it producing good quality raw conversions. It opens and processes raw files very quickly indeed on my machine. This product appears to be a competitor to Lightroom and personaly I think it is worth a closer look. Note however that I am using the Pro version rather than the standard version. I'm not sure whether this is relevant.

This is a piece of Corel software I have not used, although I have used a number of the products that they produce. The are a solid #2 player behind Adobe in the creative image department. For someone who does not want to go Adobe and wants drawing, photo editing or video editing software, they should be a strong consideration.
