    Low Force

Most road travellers pass by Low Force on their way to see its big brother (High Force). Though the walkers travelling the Pennine Way (268 miles of the finest upland walking in England) get to see both on their journey.

Never been there but I keep promising myself a visit. Nice shot and viewpoint. Nice depth provided by the upstream section which I'm guessing, you wouldn't get from the other bank.

Very nice. I love the green colors in the trees, really contrasts nicely with the cliffs and water.

The other bank is OK, though I believe my original image at #1 above has a much stronger composition John, as it allows you to include the lower cascade.

I did start off on the other bank (the road is on that side ) But I only made one hand held image, really it was just as a record shot.

    The record image
