    Dale chihuly

DALE CHIHULY is an American sculptor/artist who works in glass. He has an exhibition in the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto which we viewed whist we were out there last Autumn. If you get the chance, it's well worth a visit. Originally I was in two minds about leaving the people in the second image but finally decided that they provided scale. Ditto the young boy looking at my other half in the third image but in the end I thought he added something.

Hello John: I agree that the 2nd image is well served by having the people remain in view. Without that scale, I would have assumed that the artwork was table-top sized. I also like the lighting in the first image. The sculptures are very beautiful.

That second shot has a cosmic feeling to match the installation. I love the way the 'bowl' is just hanging there in space. I have been lucky enough to see several of his installations. My favorite in the Botanic Gardens in Phoenix Arizona... all that glass among the cactus and bright sunshine. You got some wonderful shots.

Thanks all for the comments. Photographs can't really do this man's work justice.
