    Balancing act

Timorese mother and daughter who helps out with the family income by selling home grown vegetables and fruits to evening hikers/walkers near where I live. The tub on her head were the unsold vegetables and fruits for the day as she was walking home.

You elicited a great reaction from both subjects, Steven. The younger one seems a bit perplexed, and that is fine. I wonder why you have left so much room on the right. I see that Tawau is in Malaysia.
I visited Melaka twice (1751.76 kilometers away from you), when our son worked there for two years.

Great street photo. The smile on the woman's face is magnificent and the look on the child's face tells a story I recon.
    Cheers Ole

Very nice shot, Steven. My DIL is a Chinese/Malaysian from Johor but she lives in Melbourne, Australia with my son and grandchild. I agree with Ole about the child's expression making this shot. I like the mother's fun attitude.

Jim, I really have no idea why I left so much room on the right
Melaka is a nice place to visit for any history buff. Not sure if you tried their food that is uniquely theirs.

Another moment perfectly captured Steven. I'm fine with the comp but it matters not anyway. It's the body language that makes this.
