Romancing Geckos

I feel like a voyeur.

After a period of settling in, eating like little pigs, and establishing their separate territories in the tank for a week, all boundaries seem to have dissolved. The female has moved into the males territory.



These remaining shots were within a 5 minute frame of time:

The female has been changing color like a traffic semaphore





The female has a quick slurp of Pangea, a fruity mash with vitamins; as the male looks on



She moves into position and catches his eye



Note the arched, rapidly vibrating tail. The message is clear.

It was been a regular gecko love-fest in the tank. It seems that geckos lack modesty. It seems that it is all done now, they have retreated to their respective corners. Another two weeks and there will likely be fertile eggs.
