    Thanks they did'nt go on at first so i re upped them thats why theyre doubled up

    I get four images. #4 is beautifully sharp. Is that the female Demoiselle? The other three are also good.

    Thanks John yes it is a Female Demoiselle , i edited the post and took the repeats off its ok now

    The males are Banded Demoiselle; they are always tricky to photography well. So flighty and even if you do get close there is that reflective surface to contend with. So these have worked well.

    I'm not sure about the damselfly species, possibly a juvenile Blue-tailed Damselfly?

    Thanks Geoff they were lively in the heat but i was lucky that there were dozens of them ,most were throw aways but im pleased with these , the damselflys were even more busy they just touched down and took off again

    I see all of them. They are very interesting. I like #1 best. I think it is a lady one as it looks dainty. The set is absolutely beautiful.
