Inky has somehow got a thorn in a pad, she knows how to play to the audience "Oh look at me with my poorly paw". The vet has removed part of the thorn from the pad and has applied a poultice to hopefully draw out the remainder.

I agree with John...you got the expression right..Poor, poor Inky...I will spoil him to bits with that look. I am such a sucker for doggie expressions.

Thanks everyone, just an update "Madam" had her visit to the veterinary practice this morning and came away with a clean bill of health. She looked quite please to have had the dressing taken off when she called in to see us this morning. Note the ear up as there were interesting sounds emanating from the kitchen

Whilst she did race Izzie she's only ever been a pet in our family. When she first arrived from the Greyhound Rescue she didn't like anyone touching her ears, now she can't get enough strokes. Both ears are tattooed with three characters in each ear.
