This beautiful young girl, Anna, and the puppy, Rocky, are starting their lives together.



Anna's mother and dad waited until she was nine years old and waited until the summer so that mom, who is a school teacher, would be off work for the first couple of months with Rocky.

That is so cute. A responsible mother. Not many are like that and I am sure this dog will not be just a little Christmas present...

We never adopt to families which give us bad vibes but, every so often a family like this comes along and we feel certain that they will be a great match. The little girl is very intelligent and has a calm demeanor while, Rocky is a very mellow puppy.

The parents are both educated and have had dogs previously



Both parents will share in the responsibilities of caring for the puppy but plan on having Anna assigned to small things like keeping the puppy's water bowl filled.

That is, IMO, a great way to instill a sense of responsibility in a child. My parents gave me tasks like that but, never expected me as a small child to bear the entire responsibility of our dog's care. It wasn't just Richard's dog, it was the whole family's dog...
