    Different Butcher - Different Location

Jim A.'s "Butcher" shot reminded me of this older image of a Hong Kong butcher shop...

I am not absolutely sure that this would be the place that I'd buy my meat but, it was photogenic...

Both images are very interesting and colourful, Richard. I do like. The first one would also do well as a monochrome, but the colour certainly suits well too.

Now, you made me wish I am in Oz -- they have a fresh meat butcher there almost everywhere and fresh produce stores too. The butchers here where we live are just shelf fillers, not real butchers.

I hear what you say, Izzie but, I'd rather buy from a sterile shelf flller than from this guy...

Having now seen the monochrome, Richard, I do prefer it. The colour is a bit overwhelming when combined with all the mass of detail. Good on you, for giving it a go!

Australia has strict rules and regulations, Richard...and they know their meat backwards. New Zealand is the same. I know, because I used to work in a supermarket. We have inspectors every so often. That was in my time, I do not know now. It is far from these Asian scene that you have here...
