Hi Banner: This is a great image. I like the composition, the clouds, and the colour. The clouds look like a marshmallow sea.

Just absolutely gorgeous. The clouds, the green, the snowy mountains . My kind of stuff.
Sharon beats me to it -- I was also thinking of marshmallows, having done a sheet of it last night...Very nice job! Don't touch anything anymore -- this image is already perfect. I may never get the same experience so I am glad that you did. Take care.
Good capture of the low clouds Binnur.
This view may have had potential if framed for a 16:9 ratio.
I thik tht the physics of the cloud formation is straightforward enough. A mass of cool moisture-laden air has descended into the valley and the moisture has condensed as cloud droplets. You are looking at it through a warmer or drier air mass.
What is not so straightforward is the optical effect in that the lower cloud mass looks brighter than the clouds above. Where was the sun? What time of day was it?
Despite all this physics, you have spotted a fascinating effect and have photographed it well

Thanks John, I'm glad that you like the image I shot this image in the afternoon .When those white clouds came, there were dark clouds in the sky. I reduced the contrast on the white clouds in order to reduce the brightness in post #6 , but I think because the clouds are darker in the sky we still see the white clouds as bright. The weather changed a lot during that shooting session and there was a little sunshine through the dark clouds from time to time. Very interesting experience for me
