A twenty dollar eBay light tent can do the same thing, perhaps more efficiently. It can also fold down into a small package. They also usually come with varied color background materials.

I thought having the low profile lighting built in was useful though.
If you want something a non-photographer* could open up, switch on and use without having to place separate lights around the tent, this could be an answer.
* e.g. I am one of several volunteers who list things on eBay for a hospice (charity) and I could see this might be useful.
I guess a DIY solution, using cheap stick on LED tape and a PSU in a cheap tent is an option.Last edited by Dave Humphries; 1st July 2017 at 07:37 PM.
