    Rust..

I have always been interested in taking shots oth things that are dilapidated, wrecked, corroding, etc

I was down in Pembroke last week and wandering around Stackpole Quay at low tide I took a shine to the very unshiny harbour chains that have 'aged' nicely.

#6 Even the Limpets have been around long enough to get rusty!

And these were taken as I wandered (fairly aimlessly) across the peninsular.

#7 Just a branch hanging over a stream caught up in it's own reflection ... Classical reference Narcissus?

#8 Sunlight coming through a shaded part of thev pool.... I love the contrast between the shaded and dappled areas.

I liked the rust series very well, except the first one; second one looks very crispy

i also have a feeling the last two could have been posted in another thread; it dilutes the rusting effect

Thanks Nandakumar, you have a point about the last two images, they might have been posted separately for better effect,

They are all very nice. My favorite is #4 because the contrast of scale and colours between the chain and the background pebbles really makes the chain stand out.

These are great James the second one is almost hidden in the stones ,i like the reflection too very unusual .

    Re: Rust..

I agree with Nandy, John...Although I like the reflection (#7) and succeeding image, it detracts from the rust series. I like the rust series, #4 and #6 particularly. There should not be any diversion.
