I'm wandering a bit with my language, because of the recent stroke. I hope I make myself clear.

I'm wondering why you have included so much around the main subject. It does give it a context, but I think that would be given with much less. The main subject, is the flying thingy (a technical term), but yet it is such a small part of the frame. The fact that the main subject is such in striking pose means that you want to focus on it.

Phew, that was hard work. Took about 30 minites to type.

I recommend that you add to your first post the encouragement to click the image to view it at a larger size.

Completely agreed with Donald. Ironically, I wonder (without trying it) if a square format would be ideal.

Donald: You made yourself perfectly clear, so much so that it's great to see the wonderful progress you are so quickly making.

The answer. Which is quite reasonable. Needs to get Capa quototation pinned up - The tip and betting it closer.

I have made a major blunder. I knew I should have kept away from posting.

Robert - I am so sorry.

Bit the gist of the decision why the decision for was and then my reply follows.

The square format is certainly an option. I'll go make the adjustment to the first post.

Several options here. I think you could lose the right side petal.

Very good catch Brian, but I agree with the comments above about cropping the image for a closer look

This is in reply to one and all. I just spent the better part of an hour playing with sizes and crops. I came to two conclusions:

    (1) the shot won't take much more cropping.

    (2) There is undoubtedly a better shot but I can't find it.

Indeed it does not. But when it's mixed with the lots of learning as we have with seen on here, then your ready to make the sort of image that we've got here.
