    Trelyn Seren

An alternative title could have been "spot the photographer", or "where's Mike Buckley when you need him" But on reflection (see what I did there) maybe the name of the flower is sufficient.

I hope I'm not becoming repetitive with the images from my early morning still life adventure. This is one of the flowers that were in the arrangement I posted in the thread "Nature isn't Perfect". The title of the this thread is the actual name of the Dahlia.

The colors and composition are so appealing. I've never seen a vase in that shape, which makes it even more attractive.

The photo brings to mind that there are only two kinds of reflections: wanted and unwanted. You're the photographer, so you get to decide which ones you want. If you describe the unwanted reflections, if there are any, I'll let you know how to prevent them from happening.

WOW! Love the whole feel of it, especially the shape of the vase accentuating the flower.

Thanks Mike, Steven and Nandakumar for taking time to look and commenting. Having read your comments I decided that the vase deserved to become the star of the show without having a flower steal its thunder. I have this evening tried to create a pleasing image of the vase.

Hi Peter, I like the image The vase is nice but IMO the flower adds a lot to the image with its contrasty colors.
